Благодарю за ответ.
То, что "men with low-risk disease (Gleason score 6, PSA < 10 ng/mL, and clinical stage T1c to T2a) who are untreated have a similar cancer-specific survival when compared with those treated over 10 to 15 years after diagnosis", это, конечно, интересно.
Но в той же статье говорится, что: "a biopsy Gleason score 6 tumor may reflect the presence of a higher grade or more extensive disease that was not sampled".
А также: "a Gleason score 6 tumor on biopsy seems in a small percent of patients to progress to higher-grade carcinoma; although the rate of this progression is unknown, it presumably increases with time".
Так что, может, все-таки имеет смысл предпринять какие-то меры?
Или необходимо проведение каких-то дополнительных исследований, чтобы принять решение о курсе дальнейших действий?
