Sorry for writing in English - I have no Russian keyboard at work...
Just a short commen on the subject:
Have you ever seen American-made shorts for men? You have likely noticed that they are made to cover the knees. For some time I have been asking myself - why?.. It's so unesthetic! But now I do have the answer. Without any precise measurements, it is clear to me that the majority of the American male population has a disproportionately high femur/tibia ratio; thus, the knee is positioned low - or, at least, lower than would be considered perfect; so, the objective is to cover the knees! The industry, of course, promptly responds to the demands of the market.
Keeping in mind, that even the owners of those hips and legs do not like their appearance, WHY WOULD YOU RELY ON THE NATURAL STATISTICS in your search for a more beautiful body anatomy?
In conclusion, I would like to say that I have no explanation of this phenomenon, which happens almost exclusively in males; and I have no idea if Eastern Europeans are built differently.
